As General Director MSF-Holland/Chair of OCA Management Team, your responsibilities will comprise of oversight and leading a team of more than 11,000 staff working in 115 emergency aid projects in 31 countries, and at the head office in Amsterdam. The income of MSF-Holland amounted to over €300M, of which 94.1% was invested in the direct implementation of our humanitarian medical goals. As the highest executive position in MSF OCA, you will lead the principled implementation of OCA’s humanitarian and strategic objectives, the management of the organisation, collaboration and coordination with the worldwide MSF movement, and external representation. You report to and are held accountable by the OCA Council, made up of representatives of the OCA partner section boards.
OCA is embarking on several organisational changes. The GD will lead OCA through this transition, with strategic insight, thoughtful change management and excellent communication.
This role is an exciting opportunity to lead one of MSF’s five operational centres at a time when public health is at the forefront of world discourse and humanitarian action threatened.
Guided by the principles as laid out in the MSF Charter, you will be part of a field-based movement, engaging MSF staff and supporters from all over the world in a shared commitment to medical humanitarian action.

A Dutch employment contract, based on 40 hours per week. The appointment term is an initial 3 years with renewal for a further 3 years.
