The European Climate Foundation (ECF) is a major philanthropic initiative working to help tackle the climate crisis by fostering the development of a net-zero emission society at the national, European and global level.
We support over 300 partner organisations to carry out activities that drive urgent and ambitious policy in support of the objectives of the Paris Agreement, contribute to the public debate on climate action and help deliver a socially responsible transition to a net-zero economy and sustainable society in Europe and around the world.
About the role
The European Climate Foundation has been a leader in the development of strategic communications approaches and strategy on the climate crisis in Europe and beyond, and ECF plans to focus even more on this key discipline as the debate on the response to the climate crisis moves into every part of European society and the European economy.
The successful candidate, working closely with sector and national programme directors, will be the key driver of the next phase of our development and investment in strategic communication. Experience in impactful strategy, team management and effective, empowering leadership will be vital to this role.
